CMIS Data Integration from RedDot to Drupal and Alfresco
A new challenge which has arisen internally, is the data migration of OTMS is 10.x (RedDot) to the new system with Alfresco. The principle behind is to provide the current version of RedDot a Content Management Interoperability Service (CMIS). This service uses Alfresco and Drupal to integrate the data. So a change on the fly is possible, it follows that there will no editorial break at the relevant pages. Until the system is fully developed, it can worked with OTMS, and than the switching to the new system with Alfresco and Drupal is possible.

In addition, the whole content will stored in a Contant Repository in Alfresco, so that requests will be possible after shutdown of RedDot. Another challenge was to adjust the modeling of data from the old system to the new system. For this, there was paste a intermediate step, which is creating the new structure. Therefore it can worked because of CMIS with RedDot, Alfresco and so with Drupal.
